Grade Level:  10-12  Semester/ 0.500 credit(s)  Elective

This is a human anatomy and physiology course intended for students pursuing a college career.  The human anatomy and physiology concepts emphasize major organ systems, focusing on anatomical organization, histology, and biochemistry.  An individual research paper, homework, laboratory experiments, and tests comprise the final grade.  The course has a brisk pace and an individual needs to be disciplined and diligent in their work.  Level three science class.

Prerequisite:  Students must have earned at least a B average in Biology or obtain prior approval from the course instructor.
Work in chemistry is also strongly recommended.
